China Office Opens…

China FlagWe are pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Shanghai, China, to service the domestic and regional markets.  The office will be supporting customers with process designs and internals manufactured locally as well as speciality items imported from the UK and India.

1000 Axial cyclones sold in Q1

Highspeed Cyclones PackedCustomers in the UK, USA, Russia and Italy have placed several orders this year for our Highspeed Axial Swirltubes for a variety of applications. Most orders are for stainless steel units, but a number are being supplied in GFP as a cost effective alternative.

The Cyclones are frequently used where very high gas loads mean that alternative mist eliminators require too much area and hence large pressure vessel diameters.



4100mm Diameter KWM Mist Eliminator for Bangladesh

This KWM-B1 mist eliminator was manufactured and shipped in November 2014 to a customer in Bangladesh for service in a fertilizer complex.  Manufactured in SS316L, the unit measured 4100mm diameter x 150mm thick, plus top and bottom grids.

New award announced for plate packs…

KFP-AKIRK process was pleased to recently be awarded a contract to supply a significant quantity of plate pack coalescers for a large production separator located at an onshore UK oilfield.  The KFP-A packs are designed to be low fouling and to reduce the oil content of a produced water stream.

A combination of our KMP Matrix Packs and KDM Dual Media Mesh (pictured) was recently used by a customer in Asia on a FPSO development to separate produced water from condensate within two horizontal, liquid filled vessels.  The matrix pack achieves the initial coarse separation and liquid distribution in the same stage, whilst in the second, polishing stage final removal down to 100ppm or better is achieved using the co-knitted filament pad.  A variety of matrix pack and dual media pad styles are available to suit the various applications and fluid properties.  Contact us for more information.



Large KVID’s and Vane Packs Delivered

Newcastle-under-Lyme-20131126-00377KIRK Process has just completed a project for an end user in Russia.  The contract included various large multi-vane inlet diffusers and 4-bank pocketed vane packs as shown here, to be installed in natural gas pipeline compressor KO drums.

A lot of interest was shown at this year’s ADIPEC exhibition for KIRK’s K-SEP range of separator internals.  Also on display was our new multicyclone bundle for gas/liquid/solids separation, featuring removable cyclone tubes.



KIRK takes bookings for 1000 axial cyclones…

It has been a busy summer this year with orders being taken from regular and new customers for our Highspeed axial cyclone swirl tubes, both in stainless steel and glass filled polyamide.  These are being assembled at our new works where we keep higher levels of parts in stock allowing much quicker delivery times than before.Highspeed Swirl Tubes (SS316L)

Working with our partners Sepco Process Inc. of Houston, we recently designed the inlet defoaming cyclone device for a large 3 phase separator.  This was manufactured in 1 piece for installation before the vessel closing head was welded.  The pictures show the high flow diffuser design for the liquid outlet.
